Calling all Worminghall children, parents and grandparents:
Would you like a space in the village where your family can play and run around safely without having to get in a car first? Where you can meet other families with children? Then you might agree we need a new playground in Worminghall.
We are parents of young children in the village and would like to see them grow up with a place to play with their friends, where they can safely exercise, learn about challenge and risk, and when old enough, be trusted to venture to it alone.
We have consulted with the Parish Council and we all agree that we need to understand how much support there is within the village for a community play area for the under 12s. So.... if you support this idea please, please get in touch. We cannot progress this without support within the village.
If you haven't completed the questionnaire yet, but would still like to give us your views, you can do so on the questionnaire form on this web site. We will then add your views to the total received so far.
Read the latest developments on the 'more info / contact' page of this website.
In the meantime, if you would like to be more actively involved in making this happen, for example by writing letters, fundraising, talking to the Parish Council, offering land, etc, we’d love to hear from you.
